Area of production: Territory of the Municipality of Villarosa with drained and sun-exposed soils.
Brief description of the product: Perennial herbaceous plant with a bushy habit. The pink-purple flowers are gathered in terminal panicles. The leaves are oval, spicciolate, not toothed and hairy.
Description of the processing and maturing methods: The leaves are dried in the shade and stored in jars or paper or plastic bags for food use; or in clumps in the open air.
Specific materials and equipment used for preparation and conditioning: None.
