Description

Necropolis in Via Ludovico Mazzanti

Extended necropolis dated between the XNUMXth and XNUMXth centuries BC Part of this necropolis had been previously found on the occasion of the enlargement of viale Santa Panagia so today tombs are visible along the traffic island. In 2019, on the occasion of the construction of a supermarket next to the Maria Madre di Dio church, in continuity with the previous nearby findings, a necropolis from the XNUMXth century BC was also found in this case. This would demonstrate the considerable extension of the burial area (Text source: Wikipedia)
