Necropolis in Contrada Calì
C / da Calì whose fulcrum is given by the area surrounding the farm, is made up of a rocky spur that has a number of ten cave tombs. Most of them have a rectangular opening facing east, others have a semicircular shape. Five tombs are found north of the houses, three of which are eroded and two still intact. To the north / north-east of the farm there are two tombs, one of these is located along the road. On the western side of the entire district there are at least eight circular cave tombs. On the plateau to the north-west of the Calì houses, at an altitude of 311 meters above sea level, there are squared blocks scattered over the ground and eroded; still on a plateau to the north-west, but at 307 meters above sea level, there are remains of squared blocks buried. In both areas, fragments of common pottery, black paint and flat tiles abound. The area is totally covered by vegetation. Outside the area to the south-east of the district, excavated in a small pile of rocks, there is a cave, whose interior has a flat roof, rectangular shape and evident traces of burning, hence the local name of "smoked cave" Ancient bronze / age Hellenistic Greek - XNUMXnd-XNUMXth century BC / IV-III BC
