Necropolis of Monte Petrulla
Several rocky ridges make up Monte Petrulla, which is located east of the Salso river about 8 km north-east of Licata. From the plateau, on the main summit, there is a clear view towards the sea to the south, and towards the whole mountain hinterland to the north. On this mountain there is a monumental cave necropolis. Tombs are found on the top of the north-east and south-east slopes, both rectangular and circular in shape. Seven tombs ca. they are found along the slopes and at the top of the south-west slope, have a rectangular, circular and semicircular shape and are small and medium in size. slopes of Mt.
