Contrada Apaforte Necropolis
Description

Contrada Apaforte Necropolis

C / da Apaforte insists on an almost flat area, in the center of which stands a hillock with the summit area occupied by a private house and its boundary fence. Inside the latter, among fir trees and prickly pears, an almost buried rectangular chamber tomb can be seen. The walls of the tomb are made up of large square blocks; on the east side of the room there seems to be an opening, perhaps identifiable with the entrance. Outside the tomb, but close to it on the north side, you can see a wall made with dry blocks. On the south / south-west side of the hill, fragments of tiles and sealed pottery are found.
