Necropolis of C.da Scintilia Zagarella
During the preventive investigations for the modernization of the SS 640, along the hillside overlooking the Scintilia-San Benedetto valley, the remains of a prehistoric settlement were found, which showed traces of frequentation from the Copper Age. In particular they were
traces of two ovoid-shaped huts, numerous ceramic material, and three oven burials, still inviolate, were found, which showed that more individuals were buried in each tomb.
