Necropolis of C.da Montagnola
Description

Necropolis of C.da Montagnola

The site affects the slopes of a plateau located near the SS 188 where there are ceramic fragments ascribable to prehistoric times and probably referable to a settlement as suggested by the presence of millstones and stone tools. In the western part, on the other hand, there are some oven tombs carved into the rock, partially collapsed and upset by illegal immigrants. In addition, it is worth mentioning the discovery of pottery from the late ancient and early medieval ages (achromatic, cannelures, glazed pottery and fragments of comb-decorated amphorae)

Bronze / Late Antique Roman Age - XNUMXnd-XNUMXth century BC / III-VIII century. A.D
