Palazzo Branciforte Museum
Branciforte Palace, designed by Gae Aulenti and opened in 2012. Part of the works of the “Ignazio Mormino” Museum of Art and Archeology were transferred to the museum space and other works from the foundation that were scattered throughout various locations were added. It includes a large archaeological collection. Then there are pottery of the XVI centuries, XVII e XVIII, a numismatic collection, with an adjoining library and an area dedicated to Philately, where there are ancient prints dating back to Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, geographical maps, ancient postage stamps and maps of Sicilian cities from early seventeenth century al early nineteenth century. Finally i Sicilian puppets of Cuticchio.
