Ghar Dalam Museum
Many ancient artifacts including a splendid specimen of dwarf elephant and artifacts from the nearby Ghar Dalam Cave. Adjacent is one of the many prehistoric "Cart Ruts" visible on the island of Malta.
Note the "Cart Ruts": they are parallel furrows carved into the rock with an average depth of about 60 cm and an average distance between them varying from just over a meter to almost one and a half meters. There is no certainty about the dating but they would go back to about 2 BC, following the arrival of populations from Sicily.
