Ajutamicristo Palace House Museum
The Ajutamicristo Palace built at the end of the XNUMXth century by the architect Matteo Carnilivari, is the seat of the Superintendence for Cultural and Environmental Heritage of Palermo and houses a rich stone and sculptural collection, including works by Domenico Gagini, Ignazio Marabitti and the two Stele Mellerio, commissioned to Antonio Canova in 1812 by Giacomo Mellerio. One of the exhibition rooms also houses the carriages of the Martorana Genuardi collection.
