Gozo Archaeological Museum (Museum of Archeology), Rabat, Gozo
Location: Citadel of Victoria, Rabat, Gozo, Malta
The museum, housed inside Casa Bondi, behind the Gozo Cathedral, is divided into three sections:
- prehistoric: with finds from the Neolithic to the Bronze Age (5000 - 700 BC),
- classic: with finds dating back to the Phoenician, Punic and Roman periods
- medieval and modern
Furthermore, the collection is organized and divided according to specific themes: religion, burials, art, food preparation and daily life.
The museum is housed in a historic building: Casa Bondi, built in the XNUMXth century and used by the Knights of Malta as a Town Hall
