"Square Hypogeum" Funeral Monument

Via Ipogeo. About 15 meters long and 12 meters wide. It has an entrance to the west and was originally to have two floors. It is built ad opus incertum and covered by a terracotta brick vault. The Serradifalco assumed a second floor, probably a pyramid (given the shape in an almost perfectly square plan). Inside the structure there remains a narrow rectangular room on which several niches of various sizes open.
