Monte Balchino / Altobrando
Castelluccio village and Hellenized indigenous village (in the Archaic period) with relative necropolis (ceramic fragments in the style of San Cono - Piano Notaro); fortified settlement of the Roman age. The site was the site of a fortified settlement in the Archaic period. The excavation campaigns conducted by the Superintendency at the BB CC AA of Catania have brought to light: neighborhoods with rectangular rooms set around a courtyard; a wall marked out along the path by towers.
