Brief description of the product: The cultivar in question is Pizzuta D'Avola, the tree is vigorous with an expanded habit, large leaves with a slightly crinkled edge. The small flowers with white elliptical petals, present both on the bunches and on the toasts. The fruit is large, very elongated with a welded ventral suture and a slightly raised dorsal suture, it has a hard and wrinkled shell.

Description of the methods for obtaining the product: The almonds are detached from the plant by "bacchiatura" in early September. The operations of "hulling" (manual or mechanical) and drying follow.
