Madonna della Catena
The sacred building is located in the historic center of Modica and was built in the century. XVI and subsequently, after the damages suffered by the earthquake of 1693, rebuilt in the century. XVIII. Outside you can see the ancient factories and the base of the primitive bell tower. The church has a single nave and inside there are valuable works. In particular, the paintings on canvas are worthy of note: Crucifixion, Transit of S. Giuseppe, Madonna del latte (XVIII century) and the sculptures: Madonna della Catena, Sacro Cuore, S.
