The cave with the cross in S. Angelo Muxaro.
When the Carmelite Blessed Angelo came from Africa to Sicily, he sought and found room in a cave, which is now named after him. That cave was inhabited by evil spirits, who, ruffled by the holy man, fled leaving a large cross-shaped fissure on the vault.
