Knisja tal-Madonna ta 'Liesse (tal-ferħ) / Church of the Madonna of Liesse, Valletta

Built in Baroque style in 1740 and dedicated to Our Lady of Liesse (France) on the site of a pre-existing church of 1620. Damaged during the bombings of 1942 and later restored and reopened for worship in 1952. The church is linked to:  The legend of Ismeria
