Description:
The most mountainous of the Egadi islands, made up of limestone rocks and crossed longitudinally, from north-west to south-east, by a mountain ridge that reaches an altitude of 686 m of altitude of Monte Falcone.
Marettimo is the furthest from the west coast of Sicily. Its inhabited center is located on the east side, in the stretch where the coast grants the greatest space with Punta San Simone.
It is included in the Egadi Islands marine nature reserve
