Neolithic and Eneolithic settlement of C.da Falcone
The site extends on the northern and western slopes of a low hill overlooking the valley where the river Palma flows. There are the remains of a Neolithic and Aeneolithic settlement and a stone quarry with regular walls cut into steps and also the remains of an archaic Greek settlement characterized by rooms partially excavated in the rock. The abundant ceramic materials found during an emergency recovery during the planting of a vineyard have been recovered and preserved at the Regional Archaeological Museum of Agrigento.
