Greco-Roman settlement of C.da Cugna

The site extends over a rocky hill and the plateau below. It is worth noting the presence of cave tombs on the rocky ridge while in the flat area there are remains of wall structures pertaining to a settlement of the Greek age with traces of frequentation even in the epoch.
medieval. Some scholars think that the site is to be identified with the Frederick habitat founded in 1239 by the Sicilian justiciario Ruggero de Amicis inter Agrigentum et Licatam apud Cunianum.
