Byzantine settlement and necropolis of Stallaini - Cava Grande

Large area affected by the presence of an early Christian and Byzantine necropolis characterized by some hypogea and several subdivus pit tombs. The site was disrupted by bulldozer work for the export of the superficial earthy layer. Clandestine excavations inside some hypogea and in the area of ​​the sub-star necropolis. There are some grottoni - dwellings, one of which may have been used for worship. Inspection of V. Castagna and P. Bordonaro of 14/9/90.
