Cave in Contrada Mavaro

Artificial cave obtained within a huge rock block of an almost spherical shape, inside which there are rectangular burial chambers. Regular burial cuts can also be seen on the back of this rock block. This is an emergency of considerable historical and archaeological importance but completely isolated. As far as the crolonology is concerned, it is probably a prehistoric cave that was probably reused in late antiquity.
