Description

Partridge cave

Purely indicative georeferencing. Redefine !!!

Going up the Vallone della Pernice, after passing the bridge of the Scillato Aqueduct, even higher than the Grotta di Nuovo which you leave on the right, you go along the cliff of Cozzo Pernice at the end of which, about three km from the sea is the cave with entrance facing south. Saverio Ciofalo visited it in 1876, found the reworked deposit and collected "very few" objects, not present in the Termitan Museum.
