Going up the Vallone della Pernice, past the Scillato Aqueduct bridge, further up the Grotta di Nuovo which you leave on the right, you skirt the Cozzo Pernice cliff at the end of which, about three km from the sea, is the cave with a south-facing entrance. Saverio Ciofalo visited it in 1876, discovered the remodeled deposit and collected "very few" objects, not present in the Termitano Museum.
