Cave of the two levels
Description

Cave of the two levels

Purely indicative georeferencing.

The cavity opens on the western slopes of Cozzo Casale (745 m); the difficult access is facilitated by a series of notches carved in the plaster casts in the prehistoric age. The cave, of a karst nature now fossil, has a bipartite entrance on two different floors. In the first room of the lower branch, human bones and clay fragments were found, belonging to various depositions dating from the end of the Eneolithic to no later than the middle of the Bronze Age.
