Azzolina cave
In the early 70s - at the beginning of the trazzera, about km 267,7 of the road SS.113 that runs along Carburangeli towards the sea, now enlarged and asphalted - over a dozen pit tombs dug in an outcropping bank of calcarenite. Other graves were observed in the lands of
builds villas to the West on the Grotta di Carburangeli and to the East, in the parking lot of the Azzolina Hotel there is a hypogeic cavity, deprived of pits, attributable to an early Christian tomb. In the parking lot there is also a cave often mistaken for a rock tomb.
