Brief description of the product: The inflorescence is a compound ear, formed by sessile spikelets. The fruit is a caryopsis rich in gluten with a vitreous fracture, the root system is fibrous.
Description of the processing and maturing methods: The flour and bran are obtained from the processing of the kernels that are ground in the mills.
Specific materials and equipment used for preparation and conditioning: Separator silos with sieve and aspirator, destacker, radiator plus conditioner, decorticator, auger, various grinding machines, paper bags or stainless steel silos.
Description of the processing, storage and maturing rooms: Storage of grain in stainless steel silos or paper bags; processing in premises with tiles and machinery in accordance with the law.
