The Argotti Botanic Gardens & Resource Center in Floriana is part of the University of Malta and their development as a botanical garden dates back to the early XNUMXth century when the first chair of natural history was founded. Argotti currently preserves the national herbarium and the living botanical collection of mainly Mediterranean plants.
