Fort Benghisa (Fort Benghisa)
Polygonal fort built by the British built in 1909. Currently privately owned. Fort Benghisa is one of the forts constituting a ring of fortifications and batteries that protected the port of Marsa Scirocco, together with Fort Delimara and Fort Tas-Silg in Punta Delimara, the northern arm of the Bay of Marsa Scirocco, Fort San Luciano in Punta di Marnisi in the middle of the Bay of Marsa Scirocco, and the Pinto and Ferreti batteries on the coasts of the Bay of Marsa Scirocco.
