It is located along the road that connects Palermo to Monreale.
The Fisherman's Fountain was built in 1768, by the sculptor Ignazio Marabitti.
The work recalls the style of Giacomo Serpotta and consists of a large marble basin placed on two rows of steps. From the center of the tank emerges a rock formation on which are two dolphins ridden by two putti. Further down, two other putti are reflected in the water.
Not far away, sitting on a rock and in the act of fishing, there is another putto, hence the name of the fountain .. (Source: wikipedia)
