Fabrizio Fazio, craftsman and drum artist
In a village nestled on the High MadonieIn the heart of Sicilia, the more than one hundred year old tradition comes to life in the artistic creations of Fabrizio Fazio. Passionate about the drum from an early age, he learns the construction techniques of this unique instrument in the musical panorama from the old artisans, and now in his free time, he builds tammorre, frame drums, medieval and imperial drums.
The creations are treated in detail to give thickness and quality to the final product. Unique materials such as goatskin, wooden sieves and tempered tin which allow you to get a tool from unmistakable sound. (Text source: http://www.artigianodeltamburo.net/)
