Church of SS. Annunziata
Of the church of the Annunziata, located in the southern corner of the fortress, the foundation cuts in the rock, the floor of the nave occupied by numerous sepulchral pits and the floor of the apse remain: the church, originally dedicated to St. Peter, was organized , in all likelihood, according to a Latin cross plan, oriented in the NS direction, in the Statella period (1693th-XNUMXth centuries). Christ with the Cross was venerated here, whose cult is still alive in the church of the Annunziata rebuilt after the earthquake of XNUMX in the new Ispica.
