Church of Santa Lucia alla Badia - Syracuse
It stands on the perimeter of a previous church which collapsed in the earthquake of 1693. It was rebuilt from 1695 to 1703. The interior with a single nave is decorated in stucco. The church was annexed to the Monastery of Santa Lucia inside the walls

The monastery of S. Lucia, of which neither the date of foundation nor the name of the founder is known, stood in the current via delle Vergini and was under the rule of S. Bernardo.
