Church of St. Peter

Probably of early Christian origin, rebuilt and enlarged in 1076 at the behest of Count Ruggero D'Altavilla, it was rebuilt in 1775 on a project by Giovanni Biagio Amico. The basic structure has five naves. The interior preserves important works including:
- a painting by Carreca, depicting Jesus Christ who calls Saint Andrew to the apostolate,
- a painting depicting St. Paul by Marcello Provenzano
- two wood carvings, the Crucifix by Giuseppe Milanti and the Pietà by Francesco Nolfo.
- an organ, built between 1836 and 1847 by Francesco La Grassa from Palermo
