Church of San Paolo (San Giuseppe dei Ricchi)
Built in the 1812th century as the oratory of San Paolo. After the exodus of the Benedictines, the oratory became the Church of S. Paolo, it was renovated in XNUMX, as documented by the date engraved on the altar, assuming the current structure with three naves.
On the main altar is the statue of St. Joseph with the divine infant (the latter attributed to Quattrocchi). The statue of St. Paul, the work of the sculptor GB Li Volsi, is placed on the altar of the right aisle.
The church of San Paolo is also known as the church of "San Giuseppe de 'rich" to differentiate it from the other named after San Giuseppe because "la missa basciu" (midday mass) was celebrated here, attended by people of the highest class . (Source: Municipality of Gangi)
