Church of San Paolo al Lavinaro

Built in the fifteenth century and destroyed by the earthquake of 1693, it was rebuilt towards the first half of the eighteenth century; the façade and the interior underwent restorations and renovations in 1803. The ceiling contains a fresco painted in 1750 by Giovan Battista Ragazzi, representing the Glory of the Madonna in the central part and on the sides St. Peter and St. Paul. Other works contained inside: A painting of St. Agatha miraculous by St. Peter and a painting depicting the Apparition of the Madonna.
