Church of San Filippo Apostolo
Description

Church of San Filippo Apostolo

Ortigia. Via della Giudecca. Rebuilt in 1706-1742.

The church is also of archaeological interest due to the presence of underground chambers and wells. There are several wells, cut when the underground chambers were built, of which traces remain both on the vault and on the floor. (Text source: fact sheet no. 88.
