In via Crociferi, the heart of Catania's baroque, near the S. Camillo climb. Francesco Battaglia, director of the works between 1693 and 1771, contributed to its construction, which began after the earthquake of 1778 and lasted several years. The interior, with a single nave, preserves many works including: the Transit of San Giuseppe di Natale Distefano from 1835, Sant'Agata and Santa Lucia by the same painter, a copy of 1836; Ecstasy of San Camillo by A. Pennini from 1773; the main altar in polychrome marble, with two candelabra in gilded wood on the sides (XNUMXth century)
