Church of S. Nicolò l'Arena
Dante square. The Church of San Nicolò, with a Latin cross and three naves, is annexed to the Benedictine Monastery. Built starting from 1687 on a project by the Roman architect Giovanni Battista Contini, it is characterized by a large dome 62 meters high. Francesco Battaglia and Stefano Ittar contributed to its construction.
