The current structure of the naves resisted the earthquake of 1693 and dates back to around 1600; the apse, the small dome and the adjacent rooms (Sala del Capitolo, Sacristy) were subsequently rebuilt in a pompously eighteenth-century Rococo style; noteworthy is the marble inlaid flooring of the presbytery as well as the sumptuous eighteenth-century organ and the nineteenth-century wooden stalls
