Church of S. Anna
It is located in via G. Zummo and a plaque preserved in the vestibule reads: “This chapel was founded and endowed by Lucrezia Gaudio for her son Ger. Here I am buried see the acts of the notary Giacomo Maso 4 November 1604 and XXI IANU 1607 ”.
The seventeenth-century building, probably during the earthquake of 1693, had to suffer serious damage so the reconstruction that took place in 1727 gave the existing church an eighteenth-century look as evidenced by the large portal. On the architrave of the door we read that the new church was dedicated to St. Anna and the Immaculate Conception.
