Annunciation Church, Tarxien

Built in various phases starting from 1610 to 1627. enlarged in 1636, in 1740 the side chapels were built, three on each side of the church. During the eighteenth century the church underwent profound changes in its structure and architecture especially in its facade. The church was consecrated on May 8, 1782.
