Church of SS. Crucifix
The Church of SS. Crocifisso is located in Piazza Mazzini. Built on two orders, in 1715 on a project by Rosario Gagliardi. The church, with three naves with a Latin cross plan, is surmounted by a large dome; the façade, which has remained incomplete, has a baroque portal. The interior preserves various works including a gilded wooden cross (designed by Rosario Gagliardi) and a marble sculpture of 1471 representing the Madonna della Neve by Francesco Laurana.
