The Church of the Shipwreck of San Paolo was built in the XNUMXth century and rebuilt in the Baroque style in the XNUMXth century. The interior features various works including: the altarpiece by Matteo Perez d'Aleccio, the wooden statue of San Paolo by Melchiorre Cafà. The building contains some relics of the saint, as well as part of the column on which the head of St. Paul was placed after his beheading.
