The circle of stones by ix-Hair, also known as the Circolo Brockdorff, is an underground prehistoric burial complex, located about 400 meters west of the Ġgantija temples. It consists of a series of natural and man-made underground chambers, partly collapsed. It was used for burial throughout the Malta Temple Period (4100 to 2400 BC) and originally a circle of megaliths ran around the perimeter of the site.
