Ursino Castle - Catania
The Ursino Castle of Catania was founded by Frederick II of Swabia in the 1932th century. The manor had a certain visibility during the Sicilian Vespers, as the seat of the parliament and, later, the residence of the Aragonese kings including Frederick III. Acquired in 20 by the municipality and subjected to restoration, today the castle is located in the historic center and, since 1934 October XNUMX, has been used as a civic museum of Catania.
