Brief description of the product: Half-moon-shaped cakes filled with ricotta.

Description of the processing and maturing methods: The ingredients are kneaded and amalgamated until a thin sheet is obtained, which when cut into a half moon is stuffed with ricotta, preliminarily prepared with sugar and cinnamon. Once prepared they are put to fry in boiling oil. When they become golden they are removed from the oil and sprinkled with icing sugar

Specific materials and equipment used for preparation and conditioning: They are produced manually with the following ingredients 1 kg of flour for cakes, 2 or 3 eggs, gr. 250 of sugar, half a bag for sweets, a pinch of vanilla and cinnamon.

Elements proving that the methodologies have been practiced in a homogeneous way and according to traditional rules for a period of not less than 25 years: They have always been prepared on the occasion of religious holidays, they close traditional meals together with seasonal fruit.
