Savings Bank Vittorio Emanuele (Former Convent of the Barefoot Mercedary Fathers)

Piazza Borsa 

Built in 1907-1912 on a project by Ernesto Basile. The structure incorporates the remains of the former Convent of the Immaculate Conception ai Cartari, built in 1635 on the previous structures of the Ventimiglia Palace in Gratteri. The structures of the kiosk with columns in dark marble, decorated with a fountain and the portal visible at n. 18 of Via dei Cartari. It is currently the seat of the Grand Hotel Piazza Borsa.
