Ghar Mundu prehistoric carriages (Ghar Mundu Cart Ruts)

It is located a few meters to the right of the “Tri San Lawrenz ta L-Gholja road and a few meters south of the Triq ta Cens Mota road (see map)

Note the "Cart Ruts": they are parallel furrows carved into the rock with an average depth of about 60 cm and an average distance between them varying from just over a meter to almost one and a half meters. There is no certainty about the dating but they would go back to about 2 BC, following the arrival of populations from Sicily.
