 Baħrija south cart ruts

South of the village Baħrija

Note: the "Cart Ruts": they are parallel furrows carved into the rock with an average depth of about 60 cm and an average distance between them varying from just over one meter to almost one and a half meters. There is no certainty about the dating but they would go back to about 2 BC, following the arrival of populations from Sicily.
