Crag of Rocca Limata
The area affected by the findings occupies the western peak of the complex (904 m asl) and is bordered on the N and W sides by a high overhang, to the SE by a steep slope towards the Landro district, and finally to the edge of the ridge. stretches with an irregular pattern. On the ground there are no evident remains of settlement, and the clay fragments are very sporadic. On the top there is an almost intact jug with engraved decoration referable to the facies of S. Angelo Muxaro. Datable between the Pantalica Sud and Finocchito phases. Other rare fragments include the presence of indigenous pottery with geometric painted decoration.
